Dear DSA Community,
as Editor-in-Chief of IDA magazine it is my pleasure to extend an invitation to our DSA International Summer Conference in Valencia on the 6th and 7th of June. This special edition is dedicated to showcasing the innovative and impactful work our community continues to drive forward, and I am thrilled to share insights into some of the remarkable articles included in this issue.
This year’s conference, themed “Empowering Human Decision-Making in a Data-, Model-, and Algorithm-Driven World,” promises to be an exciting blend of academic insights and industry practice. Our agenda, highlighted by Angel A Juan, DSA Board Member and Organization Lead of this edition of the Summit, is packed with global experts from sectors including healthcare, logistics, and smart cities, who will explore how to optimize decision-making through advancements in data and AI.
